CM Yogi to attend Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya and seek divine blessings on his birthday, June 5

Ayodhya, June 4: June 5, 2025, will be etched in golden letters in the history of Ayodhya as the city prepares to witness a grand spiritual celebration under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. On this auspicious day, the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of Raja Ram and other deities enshrined in the ramparts of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex will be held in a majestic event attended by the Chief Minister himself.

Coincidentally, June 5 also marks the 53rd birthday of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. On this special occasion, he will seek the blessings of Lord Shri Ram, further deepening his long-standing spiritual bond with Ayodhya. Adding to the divinity of the day, the sacred city will also celebrate the Trayodashi birth anniversary of the Saryu River. The Chief Minister is also expected to participate in these festivities.

According to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the Pran Pratishtha rituals will begin at 11 AM, featuring special worship, Vedic chanting, and havan ceremonies for the installation of the idols. Saints and seers have hailed the occasion as a historic milestone in Ayodhya’s spiritual journey.

The saint community of Ayodhya believes that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has restored the lost glory of Ramnagari through the construction of the grand Ram Temple and holistic development of the city. Over the past eight years, development projects worth over Rs 32,000 crore have transformed Ayodhya’s global identity.

Major advancements in road, rail, and air connectivity, as well as the beautification of the city and expansion of tourism infrastructure, have positioned Ayodhya as a leading cultural and spiritual destination. Signature projects, such as Ram Katha Park, the revitalised Saryu riverfront, and modern facilities at temple complexes, are reflections of this transformation.

There is an air of celebration across Ayodhya as residents, saints, and devotees prepare to mark the Chief Minister’s birthday with devotion and grandeur. Special aartis and cultural programs will take place on the banks of the Saryu River to mark Saryu Trayodashi Janmotsav. The district administration has made comprehensive security and law and order arrangements in anticipation of the large crowds, with thousands of devotees from India and abroad expected to attend.

President of Anjani Seva Sansthan, Shashikant Maharaj, eloquently captured the day’s spiritual significance: “Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Maharaj has lifted Lord Ram from a symbolic cradle and enshrined Him in a grand temple. On June 5, Raja Ram will be ceremonially reinstalled—just as Guru Vashishtha performed His coronation in Treta Yuga, Yogi Maharaj will now perform His tilak. He has tirelessly worked to restore Ayodhya’s glory and place it on the global map.”

Recalling the city’s transformation, he added, “Eight years ago, people feared to walk from Naya Ghat to Guptar Ghat after dark. Today, due to the Chief Minister’s leadership, places like Aarti Ghat have become centers of devotion and celebration. Through Deepotsav, he conveyed to the world that Raja Ram is returning to Ayodhya. Now, that dream has come true.” Maharaj also confirmed his participation in the Saryu Jayanti Mahotsav at Ram Ki Paidi, where he will inaugurate the celebrations.

Mahant Mithilesh Nandini Sharan emphasized the significance of a saint serving as the Chief Minister: “It is heartening that a monk has not only understood the spiritual pulse of the state, but has also energized it. Today, the people of Ayodhya no longer need to leave in search of livelihoods. From prasad sellers to garland vendors, local entrepreneurship is flourishing. External investors are also contributing to the city’s hospitality sector. Under the leadership of CM Yogi, Ayodhya has experienced significant cultural, economic, and spiritual growth. Just search for Ayodhya on Google today—the first image you’ll see is of Deepotsav.”

President of the Chamber of Commerce, Pankaj Gupta, praised the Chief Minister’s efforts: “In the double-engine government, Ayodhya has become a city of ‘Nitya Mahotsav, Nitya Sumangal’—daily celebrations and continuous prosperity. Business is thriving like never before. Along with attending the Pran Pratishtha, CM Yogi will also take part in the Saryu Janmotsav and a special program marking two years of the Municipal Corporation’s current tenure. His 53rd birthday will be celebrated with grandeur and joy.”

CM Yogi Adityanath’s connection with Ayodhya transcends his political role. As a saint, a devotee of Ram, and a key figure in the Ram Mandir movement, his commitment to the spiritual upliftment of Ayodhya is both personal and historic. Three generations of Gorakhnath Math have been actively involved in the Ram Mandir movement, and CM Yogi’s efforts continue that legacy. His leadership bridges the spiritual, political, and developmental aspirations of the people, establishing Ayodhya as a global epicenter of Sanatan faith and culture.
