Panchkula, December 4- Additional Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Nisha Yadav participated as the chief guest in the blood donation camp organized on the martyrdom day of Flying Officer Jayant Rishi in Sector-20 Panchkula Market today. She encouraged the blood donors by giving them badges and certificates.
She said that Flying Officer Jayant Rishi sacrificed his life in the 1971 war. We have got freedom only due to the martyrdom of thousands of martyrs. Thousands of brave men like Kartar Singh Shoraba, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad sacrificed their lives to liberate the country in their youth. He told that today our brave soldiers are protecting the borders of the country by standing in the scorching heat and minus temperature on the borders. It is because of those brave soldiers that we are sleeping peacefully in our homes.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner added that there can be no other donation in life like blood donation. Blood donation comes in the category of great donation. Every person must donate blood five times in life. Mrs. Nisha told that the life of a person injured in an accident can be saved with the blood donated in the camp. She said that blood donation does not cause any weakness, rather new blood is circulated in place of old blood in three days. Sumit, who came from Ludhiana, donated blood for the 25th time in the blood donation camp. The Additional Deputy Commissioner encouraged him by putting a badge on him.
He praised the blood donation camp organized by Shiv Kavad Mahasangh Charitable Trust Panchkula and District Red Cross Committee and Booth Market Welfare Association. He said that Shri Shiv Kavad Sangh and Red Cross are serving the people by organizing blood donation camps in the entire state. Shri Shiv Kavad Mahasangh Charitable Trust has so far organized more than 1500 blood donation camps and collected 600 units of blood. The team of Sector-32 Government Hospital collected 66 units of blood in the blood donation camp.
Shiv Kavad Mahasangh Charitable Trust President Rakesh Sanghar and Director Ramesh Narang appealed to the district residents that if any person suffering from any other disease needs blood, then he can contact Shri Shiv Kavad Mahasangh Charitable Trust.
After the blood donation camp, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Nisha also hououred PRO Lokayukt Haryana Sanjay Sharma.
On this occasion, Shri Shiv Kavad Sangh President Rakesh Sanghar, Laxman Singh Rawat, Dharampal Sharma, Sector 20 Market President Raj Kishore, Amrit Kumar, Rhythm, HL Singla, Sanjogita, Ramesh Narang, Gulshan Kumar, Manish and other dignitaries were present.
