Greater Noida: In a firm directive aimed at resolving the backlog of flat registrations, the Additional CEO (ACEO) of Greater Noida Authority, Saumya Srivastava, held a crucial meeting on Thursday with representatives from CREDAI and several builder groups. The focus was on fast-tracking the registration of unregistered flats in projects that have already availed benefits under the Amitabh Kant Committee recommendations.

ACEO Srivastava emphasized that builders must promptly ensure the registration of flats in the names of buyers. He warned that failure to do so could result in the withdrawal of the special facilities extended under the Amitabh Kant Committee’s framework. Furthermore, he instructed builders to issue final cancellation notices to those buyers who are delaying the registration process without valid reasons.

Out of the total inventory, 2,841 flat registrations have already been completed. However, in nine specific projects that have received concessions under the Amitabh Kant Committee, 1,431 flats still remain unregistered, despite all dues being cleared by the builders. The Authority has already issued Occupancy Certificates and granted registration permissions for these units.

This meeting followed directives from CEO Ravi Kumar N.G., who had asked the builder department to coordinate with CREDAI and initiate immediate registrations. The session, chaired by ACEO Srivastava in the Authority’s boardroom, included Snehlata (Manager, Builder Department), CREDAI Secretary Nikhil Havelia, Manish Gupta, and other representatives from the builder community.

ACEO Srivastava reiterated that inaction on registration would not be tolerated and builders must comply without delay. He also made a public appeal to flat buyers to come forward and complete their registrations at the earliest.

The projects with pending flat registrations under the Amitabh Kant Committee benefits include Vihan Developers in Sector-1 with 83 flats, Domus Green in Zeta-1 with 196 flats, Nirala Project in Sector-2 with 137 flats, Capital Infratech in Sector-1 with 244 flats, Mahalaxmi Infrahomes in Omicron-3 with 125 flats, Purvanchal Project in Chi-4 with 94 flats, Ames Golf Town Developers in Sector-4 with 285 flats, SJP Infracon in Sector-16B with 99 flats, and Rudra Buildwell Construction in Sector-16 with 168 flats.
