Delhi Police Pavilion Concludes on a High Note at IITF-2025, Showcasing Two Weeks of Public Outreach and Citizen-Centric Policing

Closing ceremony highlights awareness on new criminal laws, cyber safety, anti-narcotics measures and welfare initiatives; senior officers commend strong public participation and successful community engagement.
New Delhi : The Closing Ceremony of the Delhi Police Pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF-2025) was held today at Pragati Maidan, marking the successful conclusion of Delhi Police’s two-week long public outreach and awareness initiative.
On 17.11.2025,  Satish Golchha, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Delhi, inaugurated the Delhi Police Pavilion at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) at 12:00 PM at Pragti Maidan.
The Closing ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of senior Delhi Police officers and dignitaries including:

During the closing ceremony, Devesh Srivastava, IPS, Spl. CP/Crime  appreciated the dedicated efforts of all Police Units and partner organisations whose contributions made the Pavilion a major attraction for visitors of all age groups. He stated that the initiative had significantly strengthened public awareness on New Criminal Laws, Cyber Crime Prevention, Anti-Narcotics Measures, and various Welfare Initiatives of Delhi Police.
Highlights of the Pavilion (11–27 November 2025)
Throughout the trade fair, the Pavilion showcased four thematic zones focusing on:
New Criminal Laws – Simplified awareness on key provisions of BNS, BNSS and BSA.
Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) – Educating visitors about ill-effects of drug abuse and the drug menace.
Cyber Crime Awareness – Demonstrations on reporting procedures, online fraud prevention, and safety measures.
Welfare Initiatives – Display and sale of PFWS products and information on various police welfare programs.
Visitor Engagement Activities
The Pavilion attracted a large footfall owing to several interactive activities, including:
Live CEIR Checking for lost/stolen mobile phones
“Spot the Scam” Cyber Safety Challenge
Children’s Interaction Zone with the “Delhi Police Uncle” mascot
Ask-the-Cop Live Booth for traffic, women safety, and cybercrime queries
Self-Defence Demonstrations for women in collaboration with SPUWAC
Canine Squad- Showcase the skills of the trained dogs.
Delhi Police Band- Live performances and public interaction.
Social Media Engagement Counter for citizen outreach.
During the closing ceremony, Self-Defence demonstrations were presented before the dignitaries, and a trained dog also showcased her skilled performance.
Acknowledgment
Delhi Police extends its sincere gratitude to ITPO authorities for providing space and logistical support at short notice, and to all visitors who enthusiastically participated in awareness activities at the Pavilion.
