Gurugram Applauds Women’s Power Through Art and Culture

An inspiring evening of dance, expression, and unity highlights the spirit of womanhood

Gurugram, March 22 — A vibrant cultural gathering at the Open Amphitheatre in Sector 29 brought together artists and audiences to honour the essence of women’s strength and creativity. Organized under the banner of Chai Chaupal as a special Women’s Day celebration, the event transformed the venue into a lively showcase of talent and empowerment.

The evening featured a dynamic lineup of performances that reflected both tradition and modern expression. A captivating display of Kalaripayattu by Stance Dance Studio set the tone, followed by a graceful Bharatanatyam recital by Preeti Rajgariah, who conveyed powerful themes of female empowerment through expressive storytelling. Adding depth to the program, Anu Rawal impressed the audience with a technically refined performance.

Energy levels soared as Nazm Kaur and her team took the stage with an engaging Bhangra act, later inviting the audience to join in, turning the performance into an interactive celebration.

Event Director Shikha Gupta highlighted the importance of such initiatives in encouraging artistic expression while promoting social awareness. The evening was smoothly conducted by hosts Divyanshi Shekhawat and Nicky Yadav, who kept the audience engaged throughout.

Support from the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, along with contributions from administrative bodies and cultural committee members including Mohan Kant, Seema Seth, Minakshi Pandey, and Akanksha Anshu, played a key role in making the event successful.

The celebration wrapped up on an uplifting note, leaving attendees inspired by the powerful blend of culture, creativity, and the enduring spirit of women.
