Washington, 21 Nov 23– According to the Interbrand Best Global Brands 2023 ranking, US tech giants Apple and Microsoft continue to hold the top positions as the most expensive brands worldwide, boasting brand values of $502.7 billion and $316.7 billion, respectively. Notably, Apple has secured the top spot for the 11th consecutive year, marking the first brand to surpass half a trillion USD in brand value.
Following closely, Amazon and Google claimed the third and fourth positions, with brand values estimated at $276.9 billion and $260.26 billion. Samsung and Toyota followed suit with brand values of $91.4 billion and $64.5 billion. The top-10 list also includes Mercedes-Benz ($61.4 billion), Coca-Cola ($58 billion), Nike ($53.7 billion), and BMW ($51.2 billion).
Despite entering the list last year, Airbnb experienced the fastest growth, with a remarkable increase of 21.8%. However, the overall growth rate of the 100 most expensive brands globally slowed to 5.7% compared to the previous year’s 16% increase. The total brand value now stands at $3.3 trillion, up from $3.1 trillion in 2022, as reported by Interbrand, a US management consulting company founded in 1974.
