Book ‘Jeevan Darshan–Ek Pratibimb’ Based on the Life of Dr. Chhabeel Das Bhatia Launched

Faridabad, August 9: A book titled Jeevan Darshan–Ek Pratibimb’, documenting the life, struggles, thoughts and social service journey of late Dr. Chhabeel Das Bhatia, founder of C. Das Group, was launched on Sunday during a meeting of the Partition Horrors Remembrance Trust in Gurugram. Union Minister and chief convenor of the Partition Horrors Remembrance Trust, Manohar Lal Khattar, launched the book in the presence of the Trust’s chief trustee Swami Dharmadev. The event was attended by the book’s author, C. Das Group Chairman and Trust trustee BR Bhatia, along with several other trustees and members of the Trust.

Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar described the book as a reflection of Dr. Chhabeel Das Bhatia’s life and thoughts. He said the life journeys of such distinguished personalities serve as a source of inspiration for society, particularly for the younger generation. He added that the book would serve as an important medium for preserving Dr. Bhatia’s values and thoughts and passing them on to future generations.

BR Bhatia said the book, based on the life of his late father Dr. Chhabeel Das Bhatia, provides an opportunity to understand his personality and life journey closely. He said the book presents various phases of his life, his struggles, social concerns, human sensitivity and values through personal memories and experiences. According to him, the book is not merely a biography but also a record of the ideals and values that Dr. Chhabeel Das Bhatia followed throughout his life and sought to pass on to society.

The book has been authored by his son and C. Das Group Chairman BR Bhatia with the support of his brothers, Group Managing Director RK Bhatia and Directors Vipin Bhatia and Mukesh Bhatia. Family members compiled their memories, experiences and various incidents associated with Dr. Chhabeel Das Bhatia and brought them together in the form of the book.

General Secretary of the Partition Horrors Remembrance Trust Bodhraj Sikri, along with several trustees and members of the Trust, was also present on the occasion.
