No Talent Should Be Held Back by Lack of Resources, Says Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini at ‘Utkrisht Shiksha Puraskar 2026’

Ambala: Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday reaffirmed the State Government’s commitment to ensuring that no talented student is deprived of opportunities due to a lack of resources while addressing the ‘Utkrisht Shiksha Puraskar 2026’ ceremony as the chief guest at the Police D.A.V. School Auditorium in Ambala.

The event, jointly organised by the Haryana Progressive Schools Conference (HPSC), the Ambala Progressive Sahodaya School Association (APSSA) and the Pooja Foundation, honoured more than 250 meritorious Class 10 and Class 12 students, achievers in competitive examinations, and school principals from over 70 schools across Ambala district.

Addressing the gathering, CM Nayab Singh Saini said Haryana’s education system is built on transparency, equal opportunity and merit, with success now driven by hard work rather than the old “kharchi-parchi” culture. He congratulated the awardees and lauded HPSC, APSSA and Pooja Foundation for recognising academic excellence and inspiring future nation-builders.

Former Haryana Minister Aseem Goel congratulated the students, saying that recognising talent at an early stage inspires young achievers to aim higher. HPSC State President Suresh Chandra said the awards encourage students and honour dedicated educators, while Pooja Foundation representative Vinod Kumar reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to promoting educational excellence and motivating young talent.

The programme concluded with the felicitation of meritorious students, school principals and distinguished guests in the presence of educationists, parents and students. During this, HPSC General Secretary Dipin Rao, along with other office-bearers and members of the HPSC and APSSA were also present.
