The Impressive TimesNEW DELHI, 10 JULY 2026: Under the directions of Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Child Safety Awareness Month – July 2026 is being observed across Delhi with the objective of promoting child safety, awareness and empowerment through a series of outreach programmes. As part of this initiative, the Self Defence Wing, SPUWAC, organized Self-Defence Programmes at 17 schools across Delhi on 10 July 2026.
A total of 10,098 students participated in today’s awareness and capacity-building programmes. Besides providing practical self-defence training, students were sensitized on several important child safety issues including Cyber Safety, Mental Health Awareness and Good Touch–Bad Touch.
The Self Defence Wing, SPUWAC remains committed to creating a safer environment for children through continuous awareness, education and empowerment initiatives throughout Child Safety Awareness Month – July 2026.
