CM Nayab Singh Saini Pays Tribute to Guru Arjan Dev Ji on Martyrdom Day in Panchkula

Panchkula, June 18: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini attended the state-level programme organised in Panchkula on the occasion of the martyrdom day of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji as the chief guest and paid heartfelt tribute to the fifth Sikh Guru.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister remembered Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji’s supreme sacrifice and said that the Guru Sahib dedicated his entire life to protecting the nation, religion and humanity. He stated that whenever the country and faith faced challenges, the Gurus of Sikh tradition stood as symbols of courage, sacrifice and commitment towards truth and righteousness.

The Chief Minister said that the life and teachings of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji continue to inspire society to follow the principles of compassion, equality, service and spiritual devotion. He emphasised that Guru Sahib’s sacrifice was not only a historic event but also a timeless message of standing firmly for justice and humanity.

Highlighting the importance of Guru Arjan Dev Ji’s teachings, Saini urged citizens to adopt the values of truth, kindness, selfless service and remembrance of the Almighty in their daily lives. He said these principles remain relevant in building a peaceful, united and responsible society.

The programme witnessed the participation of religious leaders, dignitaries, officials and devotees who gathered to remember the contribution of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji and his role in strengthening the values of Sikhism.

The Chief Minister expressed that the teachings of the Gurus have always guided society towards harmony and social welfare. He called upon people, especially the younger generation, to draw inspiration from the sacrifices of great spiritual leaders and contribute positively towards the progress of society.

The state-level event concluded with a renewed commitment to preserve the ideals of faith, service and humanity shown by Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji.
