Yogi Adityanath Unveils ₹208 Crore Development Push to Transform Maharajganj into New Growth Hub

Chief Minister launches 79 projects and distributes welfare benefits to accelerate prosperity in Uttar Pradesh

Maharajganj May 15 2026: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 79 development projects worth more than ₹208 crore in Maharajganj district, reinforcing the state government’s push for rapid infrastructure growth and inclusive welfare expansion.

During the large scale development programme, the chief minister also distributed approval letters, toolkits, dividend cheques, tractor keys, and Ayushman health cards to beneficiaries selected under various public welfare schemes.

Addressing the gathering, Yogi Adityanath said Uttar Pradesh has emerged as one of India’s fastest growing economies and a model of security and governance. He emphasised that the state’s journey of development would continue without interruption, driven by strong policy execution and public welfare focused governance.

The newly launched projects are expected to strengthen regional infrastructure, boost local economic opportunities, and improve public service delivery in Maharajganj, reflecting the broader vision of creating a more prosperous and developed Uttar Pradesh.

The chief minister highlighted that sustained development initiatives across districts are central to transforming the state’s economic landscape while ensuring benefits reach citizens at the grassroots level.
