President Droupadi Murmu Visits Ayodhya Ram Mandir, Performs Ram Lalla Darshan and Ram Yantra Sthapana

Ayodhya, Mar 19, 2026: Droupadi Murmu visited the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya, where she offered darshan of Ram Lalla and participated in religious rituals including aarti and Shri Ram Yantra Sthapana.

The President described her visit as a deeply sacred and emotional moment, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to be present in the holy city on a spiritually significant occasion marking the beginning of Navratri and the new Samvatsar.

She noted that key milestones such as the Bhoomi Pujan, Pran Pratishtha, and other temple ceremonies represent historic and culturally important moments in India’s civilizational journey.Murmu said the concept of Ram Rajya symbolizes an ideal society rooted in morality, justice, prosperity, and social harmony, reflecting the aspirations of a modern developing India.

She emphasized that India is progressing towards the vision of a developed nation by 2047, adding that this goal can be achieved earlier with unity and collective effort.The President highlighted that the ideals associated with Lord Shri Ram’s life continue to inspire inclusive growth and nation-building efforts across economic, social, and cultural dimensions.

She also called for citizens to strengthen unity and collective responsibility, stating that shared devotion and national spirit should guide the country’s future development.
