IPS Rajesh Duggal attends Alumni Reconnect at Vaish College Bhiwani; Over 500 Former Students Attend “Yaadein 2026”

Bhiwani: A grand alumni meet titled “Yaadein 2026” was organized at Vaish College, Bhiwani, under the aegis of the college’s Alumni Association. The event brought together former students from across the country that are associated with different professions and are located at different parts of the country. Participants enthusiastically shared memories from their student days and reconnected with their alma mater. Loharu MLA Rajbir Fartia graced the occasion as the chief guest, while the ceremony was presided over by former minister and Bhiwani MLA Ghanshyam Sarraf.

The event was also graced by the presence of senior IPS officer Rajesh Duggal and Chaudhary Sampooran Singh. Addressing the gathering, IPS Rajesh Duggal said it was a proud and emotional moment for him to be part of the alumni meet after nearly 60 years.

He shared that meeting former classmates and teachers brought back cherished memories of his college days and strengthened his bond with the institution. He appreciated the initiative of organizing such reunions, stating that they help keep alumni connected with their roots and inspire younger generations.

Also present on the occasion included social worker Surender Singh from Gurugram, trustees of the Vaish College Trust Vijay Kishan Agrawal and Brijlal Sarraf. Sanjay Goyal, Principal Vaish College Bhiwani and Dr. Promila Suhag, Director of the Self-Finance Department were also present.

The gathering featured several distinguished alumni who have made notable contributions in different sectors. These included Arjuna Award-winning international boxer Rajkumar Sangwan, judges Pawan Tanwar and Sanjay Sharma, Deputy Superintendents of Police Manoj Verma and Dinesh Kumar, ACP Mukesh Kumar, Surender Singh Titu, Kamal Singh (President), Bar Association President Advocate Sandeep Haluvas, former president Satyajit Pilania, secretary Vinod Sharma, Neetu Lakhotia, Arun (Gurugram), Kaushal Bhardwaj and other alumni of the college numbering more than 500.

The event was anchored by Dr. Harikesh Panghal. Speaking about the future plans, members of alumni announced that they would be going ahead to establish a memorial for martyred alumnus.

They also took a pledge to extend full support to strengthen the Vaish College Alumni Association. Addressing the gathering, chief guest Rajbir Fartia emphasized the importance of education in shaping a person’s future. He said that Vaish College has made significant contributions to the field of education, and its alumni are excelling in various professions, bringing pride to the institution.
