Delhi Police Arrest Two Mobile Snatchers in Nand Nagri, Stolen Phone Recovered

New Delhi : On 25.02.2026, a snatching incident was reported at PS Nand Nagri. Upon reaching the spot near Gagan Cinema, the complainant Sameer (25 years), S/o Yakub, R/o Tulshi Niketan, Ghaziabad, UP, stated that at about 02:15 AM, after parking his tempo, he was exiting the Gagan Cinema parking lot when two persons on a motorcycle approached from behind, snatched his mobile phone, and fled from the spot.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 122/26 under Sections 304(2)/3(5) BNS was registered at PS Nand Nagri and investigation was taken up.
During the course of investigation, a dedicated team led by Inspr. Anand Yadav, SHO/PS Nand Nagri, comprising ASI Pramod, HCs Deepak, Rohit and Gaurav, and Constables Vimal and Jitendra, collected evidence and worked on the available clues. On the basis of the collected inputs, the team apprehended a suspected accused identified as Tushar @ Tissu (22 years) S/o Joginder R/o Harsh Vihar, Delhi.
During sustained interrogation, accused Tushar @ Tissu confessed to his involvement in the crime and, at his instance, his associate Vikram (29 years) S/o Late Jitender Kumar R/o Harsh Vihar, Delhi, was also arrested.
The snatched mobile phone of the complainant was recovered from their possession, and the motorcycle Yamaha MT bearing No. DL-5SDD-** used in the commission of the crime was also seized.
On detailed verification, accused Tushar @ Tissu was found to be previously involved in three criminal cases related to attempted murder, robbery, and theft.
Further investigation in the case is in progress.
