Akshay Kumar Says Twinkle Khanna ‘Meri Zindagi Nikaal Legi’ on Aap Ki Adalat

Mumbai, September 19: Actor Akshay Kumar is all set to appear on Rajat Sharma’s Aap Ki Adalat, where he shared candid anecdotes about his life, family, and career. A clip shared by Rajat Sharma on Instagram shows the superstar narrating his childhood stories and joking about his wife, author Twinkle Khanna.

During the interaction, Akshay revealed that he once failed in class 7, leaving the audience surprised. He also spoke about his school days, his dream of becoming an actor, and his father’s support in pursuing cinema as a career.

When the host teased him about being quick with tricks, especially removing watches, Akshay laughed and said he could even try it with Rajat Sharma. However, when asked if he ever tried it with Twinkle Khanna, Akshay humorously replied:
“Main agar woh koshish karunga toh woh meri zindagi nikaal legi” (If I try that with her, she will take my life).

The light-hearted banter drew laughs from the audience, highlighting the couple’s bond. Married in January 2001, Akshay and Twinkle share two children—son Aarav and daughter Nitara.

Apart from family anecdotes, Akshay also interacted with fans during the show, including twirling one of them on stage. The promo caption teased, “Secrets of Film Star Akshay Kumar’s life revealed in Aap Ki Adalat. Didn’t Akshay feel like studying? Did he dream of becoming a hero since childhood? Did he ever steal watches?”

On the work front, Akshay is currently starring in Subhash Kapoor’s Jolly LLB 3, co-starring Arshad Warsi, Gajraj Rao, Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and Seema Biswas. The courtroom drama revolves around farmers losing their land to a corrupt businessman, with Akshay and Arshad engaging in sharp, witty exchanges. The film released in theatres on Friday.
