Science Summer Camp 2024 Concludes in D.A.V. Public School, Ballabhgarh, Igniting Young Minds with Innovation and Discovery

Organised by SPSTI in collaboration with Haryana Education Department, the camp empowered students through hands-on science activities, expert sessions, and educational visits.

Faridabad, 27 June: The Science Summer Camp, organised by SPSTI ( Society  for promotion of Science and Technology in India) in collaboration with the Education Department of Haryana, concluded today at D.A.V. Public School, Ballabhgarh.

The camp, which started from June 3rd and concluded on June 24th, aimed at fostering scientific, technological, and mathematical development among students. Enthusiastic learners from various locations across the district participated in practical skill-enhancement activities.During the camp, students interacted with experts from IITs and engineering colleges, imbibing valuable insights into science and mathematics through engaging games and activities. They also gained hands-on experience in rocket construction .

As part of the camp, students visited the National Science Centre in New Delhi. Additionally, they benefited from the mobile lab provided by N.C.S.T.C., D.S.T., New Delhi. The closing ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, Mr. Ashok Bhagel (DEO Faridabad), Mr.Mahender Singh (BEO Faridabad) ,ShKrishan Sharma (DSS Faridabad)  and Dr.Ritu Sharma ( Coordinator SPSTI).Their presence added significance to the event. Mentors presented the report on summer school and extended their thanks to the Principal, Ms.Namita Sharma, for her support and kind hospitality throughout the workshop.

The Science Summer Camp not only enriched students’ scientific knowledge but also instilled lifelong skills. We appreciate their national contribution to environmental awareness and water conservation.
