During such check of train no 13006, 4.900 kg of gold was recovered from the possession of four passengers. The gold was seized and a case under sec 146 RA was regd at Ambala Cantt RPF post. ASC Umbala made effective supervision. Income tax authorities were also informed. PCSC NR visited the post and oversaw the seizure and valuation process. The seized gold was valued at ₹4.5 Crores, one of the biggest seizures made by RPF Northern Railway.
