Another batch of 4,434 pilgrims leave base camp to do pilgrimage to the Amarnath Cave Shrine

Another batch of 4,434 pilgrims left the Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas base camp in Jammu for the Kashmir valley to perform the pilgrimage to the Amarnath Cave Shrine. The pilgrims departed in a cavalcade of 165 vehicles early this morning. This batch included 3,330 men, 915 women, 28 children, 133 sadhus, and 28 sadhvis (female sadhus). Of these, 1,721 pilgrims left for the Baltal base camp at 3 AM, and 2,713 left for the Pahalgam base camp at 3:55 AM. From these base camps, they will continue their journey to the holy cave.
