Madhya Pradesh: Five children have died and 38 have been hospitalized due to suspected food poisoning at a shelter home

Indore’s Shri Yugpurush Dham Baudhik Vikas Kendra, five children have died due to suspected food poisoning, with the death toll rising after two more children succumbed to the illness.

Currently, 38 children are undergoing treatment for symptoms of food poisoning, with four in critical condition. District Collector Asheesh Singh confirmed the updated figures on Wednesday, highlighting the severity of the situation and the urgent medical response required. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the poisoning and are taking measures to ensure the safety and well-being of the affected children.
