IMD has predicted extremely heavy rainfall across Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, and Sikkim

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast very heavy rainfall today for Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, and Sikkim. Over the next two days, light to moderate rainfall is expected in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, West Rajasthan, and East Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, the IMD has predicted isolated to scattered rainfall throughout the week in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi.

Very heavy rainfall is also anticipated in Uttarakhand on August 6th and 7th. Light rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is expected across East India during the week. Furthermore, the IMD forecasts very heavy rainfall at isolated locations in Arunachal Pradesh from August 7th to 9th.
