Uttar Pradesh : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the state administration to remain on high alert and exercise utmost caution during the upcoming festive season. With multiple festivals approaching, the Chief Minister has emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order, ensuring communal harmony, and preventing any untoward incidents across the state.
In a high-level meeting with senior officials, including district magistrates and police commissioners, CM Yogi instructed authorities to strengthen security measures at religious sites, marketplaces, and other public places where large gatherings are expected. He also stressed the need for coordinated efforts between various departments to ensure smooth celebrations without any disruptions.
The Chief Minister urged officials to conduct regular patrolling, deploy additional police personnel in sensitive areas, and use technology-driven surveillance to monitor crowd movements. He also directed law enforcement agencies to take strict action against any attempts to disturb peace and communal harmony.
CM Yogi highlighted the significance of traffic management during the festive period, instructing officials to ensure smooth vehicular movement, prevent congestion, and provide adequate parking arrangements. He also called for enhanced vigilance on social media platforms to curb the spread of misinformation or provocative content that could incite tensions.
Apart from security measures, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in public spaces, particularly near religious sites and major event locations. He directed municipal bodies to deploy sanitation workers and ensure proper waste disposal mechanisms are in place.
With the festive season coinciding with the winter season, CM Yogi also instructed health department officials to be prepared for any medical emergencies and ensure the availability of essential healthcare services, including ambulances and emergency response teams.
The state administration has been advised to remain in constant communication with local religious leaders and community representatives to foster a spirit of cooperation and collective responsibility in maintaining peace.
