The highly anticipated match will take place at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan and is set to kick off at 4 PM.

A victory will propel Punjab FC to seven points, a tally likely to secure their place in the knockout rounds, either as group leaders or as one of the best second-placed teams. Kerala Blasters, who face CISF Protectors XI today, also stand a chance to reach seven points but hold a superior goal difference.

Punjab FC’s recent performance has been strong, with a 3-0 win over CISF Protectors XI and a 1-1 draw against Kerala Blasters. In contrast, Mumbai City FC suffered an 8-0 loss to Kerala Blasters and a 2-0 defeat by CISF Protectors. Punjab FC’s offensive prowess, led by Luka Majcen, and a solid midfield led by Nikhil Prabhu, Vinit Rai, and Filip Mrzlijak, have been noteworthy.

Head Coach Panagiotis Dilmperis emphasized the significance of the upcoming match, stating, “We have had pretty good results in both matches. The game against Mumbai City is crucial for us as a win will take us closer to qualifying for the knockouts. We aim to put in a professional performance and secure all three points.”
