The inaugural plaque was unveiled by Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta, in the esteemed presence of Member of Parliament Ms. Bansuri Swaraj and MLA Ms. Shikha Rai.
Dr. S.S. Bansal, Chairman and Managing Director of the hospital, addressed the gathering and highlighted the urgent need for hospitals that are affordable yet equipped with modern infrastructure. “There is a wide gap between expensive corporate hospitals and small nursing homes with limited facilities. SSB Hospital has been established to bridge that gap — offering high-quality care with human touch at reasonable cost,” said Dr. Bansal.
The hospital boasts state-of-the-art modular operation theatres, cutting-edge medical equipment, and a strong ICU backup, ensuring high standards of surgical safety and critical care. It is empaneled with almost all major insurance providers, and Dr. Bansal shared that the hospital has also applied for Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY empanelment to further enhance accessibility.
In her keynote address, Hon’ble CM Rekha Gupta emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening public-private healthcare partnerships. She mentioned that under government health schemes, patients above 70 years of age and economically weaker sections are covered up to ₹10 lakh. She affirmed that the Delhi Government is committed to working in tandem with private institutions like SSB Hospital to ensure healthcare reaches every citizen.
MP Ms. Bansuri Swaraj and MLA Ms. Shikha Rai expressed confidence that SSB Multispecialty Hospital will significantly benefit the local population by providing advanced medical treatment within their constituency, and praised the vision behind the project.
The inaugural event marks a significant step forward in the region’s healthcare landscape, bringing together affordability, modern infrastructure, and compassionate care under one roof .
