People’s participation will make the district level Geeta Mahotsav more dignified and fabulous: DC Nuh

Nuh, 14,December 2023 – In order to ensure the sentence of Bhagwan Shri Krishna reaches every person of the district, the district level program of International Geeta Mahotsav is being organized at DRDA hall on 22nd and 23rd December 2023. Deputy Commissioner Nuh Dheerendra Khadgata has instructed the concerned officials to ensure timely completion of all arrangements and finalise the action plan.DC said that the teachings of Bhagwan Shri Krishna that he delivered to Arjun are equally relevant even now, as they were at the time of Mahabharat that was held at the land of Kurukshetra in Haryana. It is the effort of Haryana government that Geeta is made known to people all over the world. He informed that programs are being organized all over the world with elaborate descriptions of Geeta. This is a matter of proud for all of us.Regarding the programs to be held in the two day Geeta Mahotsav, he informed that along with the cultural programs, seminar on Geeta, Geeta Yagy, Geeta Poojan, Deepotsav and religious processions going round the city are in the schedule. He said that in all these programs the participation of religious institutions, NGOs and government departments is very important. School children would be playing skits and performing dances depicting Bhagwan Shri Krishna and Radha ji. An exhibition would also be organized to allow people understand the message of Geeta and purchase related academic books as well as other products available.
