Gurugram :Dr. Sanjay Arora took over as the Registrar of Gurugram University (GU) on Monday. He became the fourth registrar of the university. He has replaced Dr. Suman Vasistha, who was looking after the work of the officiating registrar since May 21, 2025 after the end of Dr. Rajiv Kumar’s tenure. Dr. Sanjay Arora, the newly appointed Registrar of Gurugram University, was welcomed by the professors and wished him a new role on arriving at the university. In this regard, notification has been issued by Haryana Raj Bhavan, Chandigarh, according to which this appointment has been made by Chancellor of the university and Governor Haryana Bandaru Dattatrey . On this occasion, the registrar said that the aspirations and beliefs with which the state government has given him this new responsibility will make every effort to fulfill it and take the university to the heights in every field. Dr. Sanjay Arora is a senior educationist. He holds Ph.D degree and has a 38 -year experience in teaching commerce and administration work. Dr. Arora has presented his research paper in international seminars in 16 countries. Under the guidance of Dr. Arora, around 35 M.Phil students and about 5 Ph.D students have done their degree. He has done research on the Major Research Project of stress management of the UGC for which he also received a grant. Dr. Sanjay Arora has worked in institutions like Dayal Singh, and Guru Nanak Khalsa College.
