Sunita Kejriwal Asserts Arvind Kejriwal Will Not Surrender to PM Modi’s Pressure

Rally in Sohna Highlights Allegations of Political Targeting and Urges Haryana to Reject BJP

Sohna August 4 2024 : In a fervent rally held in Sohna, Haryana, Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, declared that her husband will not bow to Prime Minister Narendra Modi or the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Currently imprisoned in Tihar Jail over allegations related to a money laundering case and a corruption probe connected to Delhi’s excise policy, Arvind Kejriwal’s imprisonment was denounced by Sunita Kejriwal as a politically motivated move to hinder his developmental efforts.

Addressing a crowd in the poll-bound region, Sunita Kejriwal defended her husband’s track record, stating, “Arvind Kejriwal has been jailed for his exemplary work in Delhi, including improvements in government schools, hospitals, and the creation of mohalla clinics. Unlike PM Modi, who has failed to match such development feats, Kejriwal’s work is being undermined by false accusations.”

Sunita Kejriwal also called for a decisive rejection of the BJP in the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, urging voters not to support a party she claims has defamed Kejriwal and obstructed progress. “In 2014, Gujarat supported Modi, but now Haryana should stand with Arvind Kejriwal, who has made the state proud,” she asserted.

In a previous rally at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, Sunita Kejriwal raised concerns about her husband’s safety in jail and criticized the BJP-led central government for allegedly trying to discredit an elected leader through fabricated charges. She accused BJP MPs of neglecting their duties and prioritizing political strife over public welfare.
