Review Meeting on Medical Devices Park Project at Yamuna Expressway Authority

Greater Noida August 3 2024 : A review meeting regarding the development of the ambitious project of the Medical Devices Park by the Government of Uttar Pradesh has been held in the Yamuna Expressway Authority on Saturday. The meeting was attended by Shri Avnish Awasthi and Shri G.N. Singh, Advisors to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, and representatives from Deloitte Consultants.

Additional Chief Executive Officer Shri Kapil Singh and OSD Shri Shailendra Bhatia presented a presentation on the development works in the Yamuna Expressway Authority region, focusing on progress in the Medical Devices Park. Shri G.N. Singh suggested that senior food safety officers must be associated with the authority. Letters should be written to the Fortune 500 companies, inviting them to establish companies in the MDP, and follow up with them on a continuous basis.

Additional Chief Secretary briefed about the new scheme of Medical Devices Park and various incentives offered to units being set up under the MDP. The Government of India is also establishing the headquarters of Export Promotion Council for the Medical Devices Park in Sector 28.

The meetings were held with the representatives of the companies being established in the Medical Devices Park. This included Mr. Dharam Dev Chaudhary, MD of M/s Avience Biomedicals Pvt Ltd, and Mr. Sharad Jain, MD of M/s Q-Line Biotech/Krish Biomedials. The representatives provided detailed information about their projects. The owners of both companies were very appreciative to the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Arun Vir Singh, for the infrastructure facilities and support obtained from the authority under his guidance.

After the presentation at the authority office, a delegation did an inspection on-site and expressed satisfaction over the infrastructure facilities being developed by the authority in Medical Devices Park Sector 28. Shri Avnish Awasthi and Shri G.N. Singh also inspected the plant of the operational Surya Global Company in the authority area. The company official Shri Amit Tyagi briefed about the company’s features and products.

Among those present at the meeting and inspection were Additional Chief Executive Officer Shri Kapil Singh, Special Officer Shri Shailendra Bhatia, and other senior officers of the authority.
