New Delhi , 14 July , 2024: It is a matter of proud for the state of Bihar on being among the top of achievers in the field of power generation. Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited has been awarded with the prestigious SKOCH Gold Award in Power & Energy. The award was announced in the favour of state electricity provider for is pioneering SAMAST Project in SLDC. The glory to the award is further added with the fact that this is the first one in the Eastern region to implement all SAMAST modules. This adds further shine to the achievement. Using the social media platform ‘X’ its chairman informed the people of the state about the good news and congratulated all the personnel in the power generation public undertaking as well as all the citizens of the state.
It was informed that the SKOCH Award is prestigious highest civilian honour conferred on govt bodies recognizing their excellence in their field. Bihar is 1st State in the entire Eastern Region to successfully implement all modules SAMAST.
