Faridabad , 6 July , 2024 : To protect Mother Earth, everyone should plant a tree in their mother’s name. This not only honors our mothers but also contributes to sustaining life for future generations, said Rajiv Jetley, the media spokesperson for the Bharatiya Janata Party and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. He made these remarks while planting saplings at an empty plot in front of Sector 21D crematorium. Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative, Rajiv Jaitly emphasized the ongoing campaign to plant trees in honor of mothers.
Media advisor to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Rajiv Jaitly , highlighted that trees are essential for life on Earth, and neglecting them jeopardizes our existence. He urged everyone to plant and nurture trees as a tribute to their mothers, stressing that cutting down trees for personal gains harms millions of animals and endangers future generations. Recent heatwaves underscored the consequences of environmental degradation, with many falling ill and losing their lives due to tree loss. Jetley pledged to continue expanding the “Plant a Tree in Mother’s Name” initiative, aiming to plant trees wherever they are needed, even advocating for planting trees in people’s homes.
During the event, around 100 saplings were planted in and around Sector 21D as part of this initiative. Jaitly was joined by Shatrughan Sinha, Anju Chaudhary, Meghna Srivastava, Renu Rajan Bhatia, Dr. Punita Hasija, Sunny Wadhwa, Vikas Bhatia, Gaurav Aroda, Ashok Panwar, BN Sharma, Dharmapal Kukreja, Gagan Bhatia, and many others.
