‘Vishal Tiranga Yatra’ Organized in Delhi to Commemorate the Historic Success of Operation Sindoor

New Delhi, May 18, 2025 – To honor the decisive victory of Operation Sindoor and celebrate India’s military prowess on the global stage, a ‘Vishal Tiranga Yatra’ (Grand Tricolor Rally) was organized today from Khajuri Chowk to Signature Bridge in Delhi. The event was graced by the presence of the Honorable Minister of Art, Culture, and Tourism, and Karawal Nagar MLA Shri Kapil Mishra. The entire atmosphere was immersed in the colors of patriotism, resonating with chants of “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram.”

The primary objective of this nationwide rally was to spread awareness about the unprecedented achievements of the recently concluded Operation Sindoor among the masses. This Tiranga Yatra symbolized a historic moment of pride, as it marked the first time in world history that a neighbouring nuclear-armed nation was struck within its own territory. In just 90 minutes, 11 Pakistani airbases were destroyed, and over 100 terrorists were eliminated, strengthening India’s security. This operation highlighted the unparalleled decision-making ability of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the indomitable courage of the Indian Armed Forces, earning global recognition.

The rally aimed not only to express support for Operation Sindoor but also to deepen the spirit of patriotism, discipline, and respect for the armed forces among the youth and citizens.

Shri Kapil Mishra further stated, “While strongly condemning the neighbouring country’s policies that harbor terrorism, I want to state clearly—if any terrorist dares to even look towards India, our army and government, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, will give a befitting reply.”

During the rally, hundreds of patriots held the tricolor aloft, filling the skies with chants of “Bharat Mata ki Jai!”, “Vande Mataram!”, and “Jai Hind!” The enthusiastic crowd of citizens and youth on the streets drenched Delhi in the colors of patriotism.
