Lucknow, March 21,2025 :During his visit to Ayodhya on Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated a soft drink bottling plant, emphasizing its role in generating employment opportunities and boosting economic development. Addressing the gathering, he highlighted that Ayodhya’s massive influx of devotees is not just a matter of faith but also a source of livelihood for many.
CM Yogi underscored that faith is laying the foundation for economic prosperity in the region. “Our cultural heritage is a key driver of growth. The Prayagraj Mahakumbh showcased its immense potential, and we must enhance infrastructure to create even more job opportunities,” he stated.
Before the event, the Chief Minister toured the plant, inspected operations, and conducted a ceremonial ritual before officially starting production. He also planted a tree within the plant premises and offered prayers at an on-site temple.
Congratulating Amrit Bottlers Pvt. Ltd., CM Yogi acknowledged their significant investment in Ayodhya. He praised their journey from a small cold storage unit in 1983 to a leading soft drink supplier in North India. “Development progresses this way. When Mr. Ladhani started this venture in 1983, he might not have envisioned an international airport in Ayodhya,” CM Yogi remarked.

CM Yogi lauded Ayodhya’s transformation into India’s first solar city and commended the bottling plant for incorporating a 15 MW solar panel system to promote green energy. He emphasized that such initiatives would reduce carbon emissions and support sustainable development.
The Chief Minister assured that the Uttar Pradesh government would provide timely incentives under the MoU to facilitate the plant’s smooth operation and expansion. He further urged the Ladhani Group to expedite the construction of a hotel in Ayodhya, citing the growing number of pilgrims and tourists.
“The public demands better facilities, and hotels are now a necessity. With better amenities, Ayodhya can attract even more visitors,” he stated.
Recounting the Ladhani Group’s contribution during the consecration of Lord Ram’s temple, CM Yogi acknowledged their efforts in installing water coolers and water ATMs to provide clean drinking water to devotees. He also encouraged the company to accelerate its hotel project in Ayodhya and proposed investments in Gorakhpur, assuring full government support.
