New Delhi : The two-day Eastern Region Review Meeting of the Controller General of Communication Accounts (CGCA) concluded at the National Centre for Accounts and Finance (NCA-F) in New Delhi, with discussions centred on improving service delivery and strengthening administrative efficiency.

Senior officials from the Department of Telecommunications and field units of the Eastern region participated in the meeting, reviewing performance, key initiatives, and challenges faced in telecom accounts administration.

Key areas of focus included timely settlement of pension cases, enhancement of grievance redressal mechanisms, and effective implementation of digital initiatives aimed at improving transparency and efficiency. Officials also reviewed the progress of various reforms and emphasized adherence to timelines and service standards.

The meeting highlighted the importance of leveraging technology to streamline processes and improve citizen-centric services. Discussions также covered capacity building, internal monitoring systems, and coordination among regional offices to ensure consistent performance.
