Faridabad Parliamentary constituency set for general elections 2024, notification issued

Faridabad, April 29, 2024 : The stage for parliamentary general elections 2024 has already been set. The official notification for the same has been released on Monday. District Election Officer Vikram Singh, after issue of notification informed that the nomination for the elections has also started.

District Election Officer Vikram Singh said that in compliance with the instructions from the central election commission, the notification for hosting the elections for the parliament has been issue today, 29th April 2024. The election commission has directed to spread a copy of the notification in form-1 in English as well as in Hindi for better understanding of the general public and for better publicity. As per the notification, elections are to be held for Member of Parliament is to be elected for Faridabad-10 parliamentary constituency. Under the process of election the individuals that are willing to contest the elections for being elected as Member of Parliament from this constituency, can file their nomination any day from 29th April 2024 to 6th May 2024 between 10 AM to 3 PM, except the days of holidays. The filing of nomination can be done at room number 108, first floor, office of the deputy commissioner court, mini secretariat, Sector-12, Faridabad. The nominations received would be scrutinized on 7th May 2024 while the last date for withdrawal of nomination would be 9th May. The withdrawal of nomination can be submitted by the applicant or his authorized representative latest by 3 pm on this date and the application of withdrawal can be submitted to the returning officer or assistant returning officer. In case elections are required, it will be held on 25th May 2024 between 7 in the morning till 6 pm.

District election officer Vikram Singh informed that any of the nominations was not received on the first day. However, three probable candidates have taken the form for filling up nomination.
