Chandigarh, March 28,2024– Haryana Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya today participated as the chief guest in the inaugural National MSME Festival organized by the All India Forum of MSMEs in district Faridabad. He said that entrepreneurs contribute significantly to the country’s development. All entrepreneurs should partner to make Faridabad Industries recognized not only in India but also globally.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that from artisans to start-ups in urban areas, there are various small and medium industries. It is the efforts of entrepreneurs like you that fuel our economy. Your contribution as job creators and taxpayers is crucial. He said that an entrepreneur’s life is full of challenges. Among these challenges, the discipline, courage, risk-taking, and staying abreast with the evolving technology that you exhibit are very inspiring. In the era of the global economy today, due to the hard work of entrepreneurs, a good eco-system is available in our country, which has led to development and innovation.
He said that in terms of figures, the MSME sector, which accounts for 30 percent of the country’s total GDP and 50 percent of total exports, providing employment to more than 15 crore people, has become the need of the hour. More than 7 crore MSME units have registered their enterprises at present, while almost the same number of units are yet to be registered.
The Governor said that there are more than 1.5 lakh MSME units in Haryana state, out of which there are more than 25,000 MSME units in Faridabad district alone. He said that in today’s context, organizations like the All India Forum of MSMEs play an extremely important role in the development of MSMEs, and its establishment is aimed at providing all kinds of support to MSME units.
