DAV Public School Faridabad Celebrates Baisakhi with Joy, Culture & Colourful Fervour

Faridabad, 11 APRIL 2025: DAV Public School,NH3 NIT Faridabad, was abuzz with colour, culture and cheer as it celebrated the vibrant festival of Baisakhi with gusto and religious fervor on April 11,2025 in the school premises.

The event aimed to apprise the students of the cultural significance and heritage of Punjab.

The celebrations began with a special morning assembly where  students of nursery to V gathered to seek the blessings of Almighty and thank him for his bounties.inspirational thought. Kamya of grade 10,presented a speech highlighting the historical and cultural importance of Baisakhi followed by a descriptive poem on rural life and yellow fields, blooming with golden harvest by Saiyam.

Little hearts of DAV looked  stunning in their dazzling traditional attire.

Shivanshika’s dance performance on ‘Aayi Baisakhi soniyo’ added flavour to the jollification. Mishti of Grade 7 enthralled the audience with her zippy performance on ‘kudi fatte chakdi’. The campus came alive with the mesmerizing dhol beat presention by grade 2 pupils and watching the little ones dance on the foot tapping music was a feast for the eyes.

The Principal,Ms Jyoti Dahiya, reiterated that Baisakhi is a festival of hope, positivity and joy. She congratulated everyone for their efforts and motivated them to embrace and respect all the festivals equally.
