Faridabad, February 27 — In a press conference held in Faridabad, BJP’s State President Pandit Mohan Lal Badoli unveiled the party’s ambitious manifesto for the upcoming civic body elections. Emphasizing the development and progress of Faridabad, he outlined a comprehensive plan to transform the city into a clean and green hub. “This manifesto has been designed keeping in mind the aspirations of the people of Faridabad. With the formation of a Triple Engine Government, we are committed to rapid urban development,” he said.
Accompanied by Cabinet Minister and Chairman of the Manifesto Committee, Vipul Goel, Pandit Mohan Lal Badoli listed key promises, including filling vacant positions for sanitation workers through regular recruitment, establishing auto stands at major intersections, and ensuring the installation of the national flag in every ward. Additionally, the manifesto promises the implementation of solar-powered tube wells in parks to promote green energy.
The BJP’s vision for Faridabad also includes the development of clean and efficient infrastructure. Key projects such as the filling of potholes before the monsoon season, the construction of underpasses in crucial areas, and the improvement of road maintenance and drainage systems were highlighted. Pandit Mohan Lal Badoli emphasized the importance of improving the city’s sewage system, ensuring regular cleaning and connecting high-rise buildings in Greater Faridabad to the main sewer lines.
In line with the “Nirmal Faridabad Campaign,” he assured citizens that waste management systems would be overhauled, with garbage being removed from open spaces within 90 days. The BJP will also focus on enhancing public safety by installing CCTV cameras in key locations and conducting anti-pest fogging in the entire municipal area.
To ease traffic congestion, the BJP plans to launch the “Safar Suvidha Mission,” which includes the installation of an integrated traffic management system (ITMS) and the repair and maintenance of traffic lights by December 2025. Special anti-encroachment drives will also be undertaken in critical areas.
Addressing the political scenario, he expressed confidence that the BJP would continue to serve the people of Haryana for a third consecutive term. He noted that the party’s strong presence in the state was evident in the upcoming municipal elections, with the Congress failing to make an impact. “The people of Haryana are ready to give BJP another opportunity to serve and ensure the development of every section of society,” he stated.
