The Impressive TimesDelhi ,February 27, 2025: Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh released the inaugural edition of the Ministry of Defence’s bi-annual Hindi magazine, ‘Hindi magazine’, at South Block, New Delhi. The magazine features poems celebrating the valor, patriotism, and sacrifices of Armed Forces personnel, along with insightful articles on government policies, penned by Ministry personnel across various ranks, highlighting the spirit of inclusivity and unity in diversity.
Raksha Mantri praised the efforts of the MoD’s Department of Official Language in promoting Hindi and emphasized the importance of increasing its usage. He described Hindi as the unifying thread that binds the social and cultural fabric of India.
The goal of ‘Sashakt Bharat’ is to showcase the creative abilities of MoD employees while encouraging the use of Hindi in their daily activities. The digital version of the magazine will be available on the official MoD website at https://mod.gov.in/.
The event was attended by Raksha Rajya Mantri Shri Sanjay Seth, Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh, Secretary (Defence Production) Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary (Ex-servicemen Welfare) Dr. Niten Chandra, Secretary, Department of Defence R&D and Chairman DRDO Dr. Samir V. Kamat, along with other senior MoD officials.
