New Delhi, January 31, 2025: The Ministry of Railways has launched ‘SwaRail’ SuperApp, a comprehensive digital platform that integrates multiple railway services into a single application. Currently available in beta testing, the app is accessible for download on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The final public release will follow after successful trials and user feedback evaluation.
Developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), the SwaRail SuperApp aims to eliminate the need for multiple applications, offering a seamless and user-friendly experience. It consolidates essential services such as:
Reserved and Unreserved Ticket Booking
Platform Ticket Booking
Parcel and Freight Enquiries
Train & PNR Status Checks
Food Orders on Trains
Rail Madad for Complaint Management
Single Sign-On: Users can access all services with a single set of credentials, including those from IRCTC RailConnect and UTS Mobile App.
All-in-One Convenience: Instead of separate apps for ticket booking, train schedules, and PNR status enquiries, ‘SwaRail’ combines them into a single unified interface.
Integrated Information Display: PNR status will now include associated train details, offering users a more comprehensive view.
Easy Registration & Login: Existing users of RailConnect and UTS Mobile App can log in directly, while new users can register with minimal data entry.
Secure Access: The app supports m-PIN and biometric authentication for enhanced security and user convenience.
The Ministry of Railways encourages users to participate in the beta testing phase and provide valuable feedback to improve the application before its full-scale launch. The CRIS team is actively monitoring user input to refine the app’s functionality and enhance user experience.
