During his speech, Modi highlighted the sentiments of voters who participated in the first two phases of the Assembly elections held on September 18 and 25. He noted that the electorate is tired of the dynastic rule that has long dominated Jammu and Kashmir politics, and that they are eager for a change that brings peace and development—goals he believes only the BJP can achieve.

This time, the BJP will form a government in Jammu and Kashmir with full majority, marking a historic moment for the region,” Modi stated. He underscored that the voting patterns observed thus far indicate a favorable reception for the BJP, reflecting a collective desire for change among the populace. Modi referred to Jammu as a “City of Temples” and urged residents to seize the opportunity to shape their future through their votes.

The Prime Minister characterized the current Assembly elections as a chance for Jammu and Kashmir to embark on a new chapter, one that breaks away from the past where only leaders from the National Conference (NC), People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and Congress benefited. He asserted that the wounds inflicted by these parties would be healed by the BJP, which has committed to the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits through initiatives like the Tika Lal Taploo scheme.

Modi remarked that this rally would be his last public engagement related to the Assembly polls in the region. He expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic response he witnessed during his recent visits to various parts of Jammu and Kashmir, indicating a palpable discontent with the previous ruling parties.

The Prime Minister further criticized the past governance, citing issues like rampant corruption, backdoor appointments, and the cycle of violence that plagued the region. He reiterated that the people want a government of their choice that prioritizes stability and development.

Jammu and Kashmir deserves a full majority BJP government for the first time,” Modi declared, emphasizing that his administration would leave no stone unturned to realize the dreams of the people. He also reaffirmed that the Union Territory status for Jammu and Kashmir is temporary and pledged to restore statehood under a BJP-led government.

In addition to his campaign promises, Modi recalled the anniversary of the 2016 surgical strikes, noting that they sent a clear message to adversaries of India about the nation’s resolve. He condemned the Congress party for questioning the validity of these strikes and highlighted the BJP’s commitment to national security and constitutional values.

In conclusion, Modi’s rally underscored the BJP’s push for a transformative government in Jammu and Kashmir, aiming to address long-standing grievances and build a prosperous future for the region.
