Centre of Excellence in Cricket & Best-Selling Book launched at DPSG Faridabad

Faridabad, 23 December 2023-  The Delhi Public School Gol Ghaziabad (DPSG), Faridabad Campus has been buzzing with myriad activities fostering an atmosphere of creativity, achievement, and growth. Just 10 days after the visit of the hon’ble Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar at the DPSG Faridabad campus, the students and staff celebrated the addition of a Centre of Excellence in Cricket at the school. Former Test Wicket Keeper Vijay Yadav shall train students at the Centre of Excellence in Cricket at DPSG Faridabad. The ceremony was graced by eminent people including the former cricketer himself; renowned Orthopaedic Surgeon & Chairman of Accord Hospital, Dr. Yuvraj Kumar; Mr. Manish Kumar, Director Sports & MarCom at DPSG; budding cricketers and students.

School Principal Ms. Maya Vijayan took the bat with none other than Vijay Yadav as her wicket keeper during the launch event. The electrifying clash between DPSG XI & Vijay Yadav XI left spectators on the edge of their seats, as the two teams engaged in a thrilling display of skill, strategy, and unrelenting determination, creating an unforgettable spectacle of excitement on the field.

The day also saw the launch of the book “The Winning Culture –Lessons from the Indian Army to Transform your Business” written by Major Gen. Neeraj Bali. The book is already on the Best Seller Chart across various platforms. In conversation with the renowned writer Rachna Bisht Rawat, Major Gen. Bali shared life lessons, stories of valour and courage from the Indian Army.

In her address, Maya Vijayan, Principal shared: “Every day in DPSG Faridabad is an adventure in curiosity, confidence, and character.
