Faridabad , 10 June, 2024- Planting trees offers numerous benefits like oxygen, shade, fruits, biodiversity, shelter for birds, food for other animals, absorption of harmful gases like carbon dioxide for a clean environment, and water conservation for the earth. Nature is ringing alarm bells through severe heatwaves, incurable diseases, and various disasters. It’s high time we become vigilant, and planting trees on a large scale is the only solution. The Manufacturers Association Faridabad, through a special meeting held at Central Park View Hotel, emphasized the importance of tree plantation. S.S. Banga, as a special guest representing Faridabad Industries Association’s Clean Green Panel, expressed gratitude after planting thousands of trees as part of the ongoing Selfie with Plantation 3.0 campaign to make Faridabad green and pollution-free.
The President of the association, Mr. Sukhdev Singh, stated that India is emerging as a developed economy, ensuring a bright future for industrial units in India. He informed that the association is actively engaged in addressing the issues of its members and regularly organizes programs to provide them with information related to new technologies, social activities, and government systems.
The Secretary of the association, Mr. Ramanik Prabhakar, revealed that the association is committed to sensitizing its members to adopt new technologies. For this purpose, they are continually organizing trips to various business expos worldwide to update their knowledge. He informed that the association has organized about 7 business trips and is contributing significantly to provide information related to global industrialization to its members. This year also, there is a program scheduled for the representative delegation to visit Germany in September.
Former President of the association, Mr. Naresh Varma, mentioned that the association has always been working diligently for environmental conservation and has made a significant contribution to beautification in Sector 6 industrial area. Appreciating the campaign led by S.S. Banga, he appealed to everyone to fulfill their social and moral responsibilities.
