A woman reportedly died by suicide in Noida’s Sadarpur Colony after her husband requested that she not use Instagram. Identified as Vishakha, she resided with her husband and two children in a flat within the colony under the jurisdiction of the Sector-39 Police Station area.
The Noida police stated that they are exploring other potential factors contributing to the woman’s alleged suicide. An officer mentioned, “We have not yet received any complaint regarding the incident. Initially, the family suggested that Instagram could have been the reason for her extreme step. We are conducting an investigation to ascertain if there were any other factors involved.”
“The deceased’s husband works as an Ola bike driver and is the primary earner for the family. There have been previous arguments between the couple concerning the use of Instagram.
