The Impressive TimesNEW DELHI : Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has launched the Volunteer Teacher Registration Portal, an initiative designed to encourage experienced and interested individuals to contribute to school education through voluntary teaching.
Through the portal, retired teachers, former servicemen and individuals associated with the education sector will be able to register themselves to teach voluntarily in schools.
The initiative aims to help address the shortage of teachers in schools and ensure that students receive better educational opportunities. By bringing experienced individuals into classrooms, the programme seeks to strengthen the teaching and learning process.
The portal provides a platform for people willing to contribute their knowledge, experience and skills to the education system. It also encourages greater public participation in improving school education across Haryana.
The initiative reflects the state government’s efforts to explore additional ways of supporting schools and enhancing the quality of education available to students.
