She said, “Our government is consistently working to provide fast, transparent, and reliable services to the public through the use of technology.” She further explained that these mobile forensic vans function as a moving laboratory equipped with advanced tools to conduct on-site preliminary analysis. With these Vans Expert teams will be able to reach crime scenes promptly and collect scientific evidence in cases such as murder, theft, fraud, and cybercrime.
The Chief Minister outlined the procedure followed by forensic teams at crime scenes begin with by securing the area, followed by documentation through photography, sketching, and videography. She emphasized that the purpose of launching this van is to accelerate these processes and ensure timely action.
CM Rekha Gupta also stressed the importance of timely investigation in criminal cases. In such cases, the speed and vigilance of forensic teams become the foundation of justice.” She expressed confidence that this new initiative will not only enhance the efficiency of Delhi’s judicial system but also reinforce a sense of safety and trust among citizens.
Cabinet Minister Shri. Ashish Sood highlighted that today’s judiciary places greater importance on scientific evidence, as it is based on concrete facts rather than personal testimonies.
