The second day of Chaitra Navratri is being observed on Friday, dedicated to Goddess Brahmacharini, one of the nine forms of Goddess Durga. The festival began on March 19 and will culminate with Ram Navami on March 27, marking the birth of Lord Rama.

On the second day, the colour green is considered highly auspicious. It signifies growth, harmony, prosperity, and new beginnings. Devotees often wear green to invite positivity and peace into their lives.

Goddess Brahmacharini represents devotion, तपस्या, and self-discipline. She is believed to be the unmarried form of Goddess Parvati, who performed intense penance to attain Lord Shiva as her husband. Her story reflects determination, patience, and unwavering faith.
