New Delhi- Sampurna, under the leadership of its Founder Dr Shobha Vijender, organised a special prayer meeting for the speedy recovery of Indian Captain Smit Machhar, who was injured in the recent serious incident involving a flydubai flight.
Municipal Councillor Smita Kaushik, Mandal President Naveen Gupta, along with Sampurna workers, youth, women and senior members, participated in the gathering and offered prayers for the captain’s early recovery.
Dr Shobha Vijender condemned the violent incident in the cockpit and praised Captain Machhar for the courage, patience and sense of responsibility he demonstrated during the crisis.
She said his commitment to his duty under extremely difficult circumstances was inspiring and deserving of respect. Dr Vijender also expressed solidarity with his family and prayed for his speedy and complete recovery.
Municipal Councillor Smita Kaushik said Captain Machhar showed remarkable courage and composure while facing adversity. She praised his commitment to passenger safety and said his actions were an inspiration to others.
Mandal President Naveen Gupta also highlighted the captain’s alertness, presence of mind and dedication to duty, saying his response during the difficult situation reflected the importance of taking responsibility during a crisis.
Participants at the prayer meeting appreciated Captain Machhar’s courage and dedication, particularly his efforts to help manage the situation despite being seriously injured.
Members offered personal messages and prayers, seeking his speedy recovery and expressing hope that he would soon return safely to his daughter and family. Devotional songs were also presented during the gathering, with participants praying for his strength, healing and recovery.
Sampurna paid tribute to Captain Machhar’s bravery and expressed solidarity with him and his family. The organisation wished him a complete recovery and hoped that he would return home safely and resume his normal life soon.
