NEW DELHI, 21 JUNE 2026: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw interacted with railway personnel in Bikaner and reviewed the ongoing transformation of railway infrastructure and passenger facilities in the region. The interaction formed part of the Government’s continued efforts to modernise the Indian Railways network and enhance the travel experience for passengers.
During the visit, the Railway Minister engaged directly with railway staff and listened to their feedback, experiences and suggestions regarding day-to-day operations and ongoing development initiatives. He appreciated the dedication and hard work of railway employees, acknowledging their vital role in ensuring safe, efficient and reliable railway services.
Addressing the railway personnel, Vaishnaw highlighted the significant progress being made in strengthening railway infrastructure across Bikaner and surrounding areas. He noted that continuous efforts are being undertaken to upgrade railway stations, improve track infrastructure, enhance operational efficiency and provide better facilities for passengers.
