Rewari, March 21,2025: District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Meena honored Nidhi, a student of Government Senior Secondary School, Majra Mustakil Bhalakhi, for securing third place in the state-level essay writing competition organized under the Voter Awareness Program. She was awarded a certificate of appreciation in recognition of her achievement.
Speaking at the felicitation ceremony, DC Meena expressed his pride in Nidhi’s accomplishment and encouraged her to continue excelling in academics. He emphasized that such competitions play a vital role in educating students about the significance of voting. “Nidhi’s achievement has brought pride to the district, and I wish her a bright future ahead,” he said.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) conducts voter awareness campaigns across the country to educate citizens about their voting rights and encourage higher voter turnout. These initiatives include various activities such as essay competitions, rallies, and awareness drives to instill a sense of civic responsibility among the youth.
