Palwal Police to Hold Road Safety Quiz for Students on August 31
Competition to be organised across schools, colleges and ITIs to promote awareness and compliance with traffic rules among children
The Impressive TimesPalwal: The Palwal Police will organise a road safety quiz competition on August 31 to educate children and students about traffic rules and encourage them to follow safe road practices from an early age. The competition is being conducted under the directions of the Additional Director General of Police, Traffic and Highways, Haryana, and Palwal Superintendent of Police Nitish Aggarwal.
The quiz will be held at the school level across schools, colleges, ITIs and other educational institutions in the district, with the first round scheduled for August 31. DSP Traffic Narendra Khatana said necessary preparations for the successful conduct of the competition have been completed. The arrangements are being made under the supervision of Traffic Police Station in-charge Inspector Ravikant. He appealed to principals, head teachers and managements of educational institutions to ensure that students are adequately prepared for the quiz and encourage maximum participation. SP Nitish Aggarwal said the initiative aims to inculcate awareness of traffic rules among children from an early age and motivate them to follow these rules. He said lessons learned during childhood often remain with individuals throughout their lives and can contribute significantly to reducing road accidents.
