Gautam Adani Meets Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, August 23, 2026; Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani met Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar at the Chief Minister’s residence in Sadashivanagar, Bengaluru, on Sunday.

Adani arrived at Shivakumar’s residence for the meeting and left shortly afterwards. The Karnataka Chief Minister did not disclose details of the discussion, saying he would share information about the meeting at a later stage.

The interaction comes amid Adani’s recent public engagements. Earlier this week, the Adani Group chairman visited the Mahudi Jain Temple in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar district along with his wife Priti Adani, son Karan Adani and daughter-in-law Paridhi Adani.

During the temple visit, Adani offered prayers and spoke about the values of non-violence, self-discipline and compassion associated with Jainism. He also prayed for peace, prosperity and the well-being of people.

The Adani Group chairman has frequently highlighted the importance of social service through the Adani Foundation, which works in areas including education, healthcare, livelihoods, rural development, women’s empowerment and community infrastructure.

The Bengaluru meeting also takes place shortly after a significant legal development in the United States. Proceedings connected with the US Department of Justice case involving Gautam Adani, Sagar Adani and others concluded after the indictment was dismissed with prejudice on August 10.
